Joint venture between Luyckx and 3D Consult focuses on 3D machine control

On 26/06/2018, Luyckx and 3D-Consult founded the joint venture ULTIMATED. It bundles the knowledge of two established industry experts: Luyckx, as specialist in the distribution and servicing of machines, and 3D-consult, an expert in land surveying and 3D machine control.
Ultimated is the first one-stop shop to offer tailored guidance and advice on position fixing to companies in (road) construction, earthmoving and infrastructure.



We are almost there - Progress New Facilities

This week we received the final approval from the Civil Defence Department for the complention of our office building.

We strive to move to our new facilities by the end of August.

Official opening is planned for November 1st.

Urban congestion creates new demand for wheeled excavators

Increasing urban density and congestion are forcing construction contractors to opt for earthmoving equipment that they can transport easily from one location to another while minimising damage to streets and curbs. As a result, wheeled excavators are gaining popularity as alternatives to conventional crawler excavators because of their lifting capacities, stability and manoeuvrability.

Responding to these trends in the Middle East, Hitachi has relaunched its range of wheeled excavators in the region. The company showcased its revamped Zaxis range of excavators recently at the Big 5 Heavy 2018 expo held in Dubai.

Hitachi Construction Machinery Middle East (HMEC) has appointed Middle East Crane Equipment Trading (MECET), of the Luyckx Group, as the exclusive UAE distributor and full service provider for its Hitachi construction machinery and Hitachi Sumitomo crawler cranes in the UAE.



New dealer for UAE

Hitachi Construction Machinery Middle East (HMEC) has appointed a new dealer in the UAE. Middle East Crane Equipment Trading (MECET) will have full responsibility for sales and after-sales of Hitachi construction machinery and Hitachi Sumitomo crawler cranes in the region.
